5 Ways to Style 90s Jeans
I’m a denim lover through and through, and recently I’ve been loving looser 90s style jeans. While I’ll always love my skinny jeans, the 90s straight styles have certainly been trending. I love the more laid back edgy feel to them, but it did take me a bit to figure out how to style them. I guess I had been wearing skinny jeans for so long that I forgot how to wear a straight fit lol! So, if you’re wondering how to pull off the 90s jean trend, then here are five ways I like to style them…

1. With a Shacket
In the fall or winter, you can’t go wrong with a shacket. I love pairing a shacket with my 90s jeans and some boots - I think looks a lot more updated than a skinnier pair.
2. With Loafers or Sneakers
I’ve been loving the loafer trend lately, and I love styling them with my 90s jeans. However, if you’re not into the loafer trend, you could easily swap them for a classic pair of sneakers. My 90s jeans hit right at the ankle which makes this look a lot more flattering. You could always cuff them though if they’re a little longer.
3. With a Sweatshirt & Coat
On those super cold days, I’ll style my 90s jeans with a sweatshirt and a puffer coat. I’ll even throw on a scarf or beanie for some extra warmth. I also love a longer wool coat which also looks great with a straight pair of jeans.
4. With Chunky Boots
My favorite way to style 90s jeans in the fall or winter is with a chunky pair of boots like my Dr. Martens. Since my 90s jeans hit right at the ankle, I love how effortless it looks when you don’t have to tuck your jeans into anything.
5. With Sandals or Heels
For a night out or even a brunch date, I’d style my 90s jeans with some heels or sandals. Pair them with a blouse or bodysuit and throw a blazer over the top for an even dressier look. Overall, my 90s jeans are super versatile and can literally be styled a hundred different ways. No matter the occasion or season, they’re my go-to style right now.
