Delta Faucet: Everything You Need To Know

As you all know, it’s been a LONG journey getting our new home built and set-up. So many little details were involved every step of the way, but it was well worth it now that we have a (somewhat) finished product! After six months in our home, I finally have an opportunity to circle back and share one of the most underrated aspects of our design that really made our home special: my partnership with Delta Faucet.

Oddly enough, Delta Faucet is based out of Indianapolis and therefore we’ve always been familiar with their company and how great their products are. So with this house, we chose to exclusively carry Delta Faucet plumbing products in every room. I’m excited to share with you a quick summary of the pieces we went with for our home! Links to all the corresponding products are included within each room!

Primary Bathroom

For our primary bathroom, we knew we wanted to incorporate a traditional, elegant feel into our home’s transitional design, and therefore chose to go with Delta’s Cassidy™️line of products. The champagne bronze color throughout went perfectly with our faux wood vanities and off white tile throughout the bathroom. The matching Cassidy™️ faucets for our sinks and tub give the room a beautiful, cohesive feel. I highly recommend the cross handle design to go with the faucets!

In our shower, we installed two different shower heads, so that Cort and I didn’t ever have to fight over optimal shower times! In both spots, we chose Delta’s In2ition® series shower head, which has several different water settings as well as a detachable hand shower.

Kitchen

For our kitchen, we worked with the Delta team to incorporate a set of products that made our kitchen super functional. We went with a matte black color scheme for all plumbing choices, which tied in perfectly with our black apron sink.

For our faucet, we chose the VoiceIQ™️ faucet with Touch2O® technology in the Trinsic® line. This modern looking faucet is probably the coolest plumbing product in our entire home! Not only is it touch activated (which is a lot more useful than I expected), but is also voice controlled. If you have Alexa or Google devices, you can program your faucet to respond to various voice commands such as turning on and off, dispensing any specific amount of water, or even warming up water ahead of time!

Next to our faucet, we installed both a beverage faucet and a glass rinser. Our paneled fridge didn’t come with a water filter option, so we needed a water spout in our kitchen, and Delta’s options are fantastic. Our beverage faucet connects with our reverse osmosis system and dispenses cold water, but Delta also has products that can dispense hot water as well! The glass rinser is perfect for cleaning out wine glasses or mason jars after a smoothie. I’ve also heard it’s GREAT for baby bottles (keeping that in my back pocket for the distant future!).

Finally, we added a matching black pot filler above our stove. I love the modern look of the one we choose, and I’ve already used ours several times and have found it super useful!

Laundry Room

Though we don’t have a sink in our laundry room, we did install a dedicated dog wash for Mylo! We loved the In2ition® shower head in our bedroom so much that we went ahead and installed one for Mylo’s dog wash too! The hand shower detachment is even more useful for bathing him, and it has multiple water settings and spray intensities. We went with black plumbing in this room to contrast the Accessible Beige paint color in the room.

Powder Bathroom

As you may have seen in some of my other home content, we knew we wanted a moody powder bathroom that had a completely different feel from the rest of our white home. Therefore, we went with Urbane Bronze paint that gave the bathroom a darker tone. To offset this, we pulled forward the Cassidy™️ plumbing collection from our Primary bathroom into the powder bath in a champagne bronze color to contrast this moodiness with elegant, brighter tones. I’m so happy with how it turned out!

Guest Bathroom 1

This bathroom is an en-suite bathroom to the bedroom where all of our guests will stay. For this room, we wanted to go with a black and white theme, and went with matte black plumbing to accomplish this. We chose to go with Delta’s Dorval™️ Collection, which is known for its powerful design and regal accents. I love the tall faucet and the oversized cross-handles! We added another matte black In2ition® shower head in here so that our guests could enjoy the same great showering experience as us!

Guest Bathroom 2

This bathroom has a Jack and Jill sliding door that allows it to be the bathroom for a future child’s room as well as an extra bathroom for the top floor of our home. Therefore, we kept this bathroom’s theme fairly consistent with the majority of our house (white walls, white countertops, and clean designs). Therefore, we chose Delta’s Trinsic® collection for plumbing in this room, which has a modern, clean feel. I love the sleek look of this sink plumbing! Of course, we had to swap out the Trinsic® shower head for an In2ition® head for functional purposes!

Guest Bathroom 3

We finished a full bathroom in our basement, which probably won’t be used too much initially but will be helpful down the road. We pulled forward our matte black Dorval design from Guest Bathroom 1 into this bathroom for simplicity, but also because we loved the look!

Toilets

Fun side note, we opted to switch out the toilet levers within all of our bathrooms to match the respective collection design in each room. It’s such a small detail, but makes a HUGE difference. Here’s links to the toilet levers for the Cassidy, Dorval, and Trinsic collections.
