Everything You Need to Know About Vejas
I’m a sneaker girl through and through! I even dedicated an entire blog post to my favorite casual white sneakers, so the love runs deep! Vejas are by far some of my most-worn pairs, and you guys are always asking me about sizing, fit and whether or not I think they’re worth the money - spoiler alert - they totally are! So, I figured I’d break it all down for you… so here’s everything you need to know about Vejas!
First of all, I have several different styles of Vejas, each of which I love! I have the lace up versions (the V-10 and V-12), the velcro ones (the 3-Lock), and the Venturi trainers. I also think these ones are super cute for more of a casual look. They run big so I size down a whole size in them. I will warn you though that they require some breaking in. The tongue can be stiff until worn in. If you get a fabric tongue, they're easier to break in than if you get a leather tongue. Once broken in, they're really comfy and they hold up great.
Most pairs are between $140 - $180 and I’ve had some of mine for years. So, for the quality I say the price point can’t be beat! I definitely think they’re worth the money, especially since they’re timeless and will never go out of style!
I think they look super chic with a skirt or dress, and I love how they elevate any jeans I pair with them. They could also be paired with leggings and an oversized sweatshirt, or really anything. Like I said, they are my go-to sneaker. Also, fun fact fun - the brand told me directly that the j is pronounced like Jake (Vay-juh).
Pro Tip: Let’s be honest, white sneakers can be tough to keep white! Over the years of trying to keep mine clean, I’ve learned a few tips and tricks. To clean them, I use a magic eraser. Just wet it and scrub… most stains come right out! I’m also linking my favorite no-show socks. There’s nothing worse than having your socks slip down… am I right? Anyway, hopefully this will help you the next time you’re shopping for a new pair of casual white sneaks!
