My Sun-Care Essentials

We’re in the thick of travel season here in the Midwest and gearing up for summer for many people so I thought it would be a great time to share all of my sun-care essentials! Summer calls for tons of time outdoors at the pool, patio dining, playing pickleball, and more so it’s super important we remember to protect our skin. Below I’m sharing my current go-to products that keep me safe from excess sun exposure and allows peace of mind while enjoying activities outside!

EltaMD SPF Face Sunscreen

I have been using this product for a couple of years now but it quickly became one of my favorites. It came recommended to me by my esthetician because not only does it provide 40 SPF protection and is mineral based, but it also contains hyaluronic acid which helps keep my skin looking and feeling hydrated while in the sun. I prefer the tinted version of the sunscreen to wear as my makeup for the day, but when I want to wear makeup on top of the sunscreen I will use the non-tinted version, which you can find here!

SunnyDays Tinted Sunscreen Foundation

I recently found this product and immediately fell in love. I definitely like to wear some sort of makeup to the pool as a personal preference so I have found this sunscreen foundation to be the perfect happy medium! It helps me to feel confident and still protected from the sun!

Supergoop SPF Mineral Setting Powder

I love to use this setting powder on top of my sunscreen foundation as it helps keep it in place and adds an extra layer of protection!

Supergoop Everyday Sunscreen Lotion

This sunscreen is a must every time we go on vacation or find ourselves in the sun! I love how hydrating it feels and that it is water and sweat-resistant for up to 80 minutes.

Supergoop Setting Refreshing Mist

This product is one I always keep in my beach/pool bag to spray as a touch up! It’s super refreshing and easy to apply throughout the day as needed!
