Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Details
If you don’t already know about the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, it’s the biggest sale that Nordstrom has throughout the year. While they do hold other sales, their Anniversary Sale is known to have some of the best savings and discounts on new fall merchandise, along with other items. Unlike most sales that discount leftover, end-of-season items, the Nordstrom Sale marks down NEW fall items that will normally be full price year-round. These items START on sale for a few weeks and go up to full price after the sale is over, and will remain full price for the rest of the season.
So, I’m breaking down everything you need to know about the sale, as well as a preview of my top picks. Don’t worry, I’ll be sharing more of my favorite fashion, beauty, and home items that will be on sale here on the blog, as well as on Instagram and the LikeToKnow.it app.
When does the sale start?
Everyone can preview the sale beginning July 6, but shopping for the sale depends on what Nordy Club status you are. All Nordstrom cardmembers can shop Early Access starting July 16, and here's the breakdown of the tiers:
Icon Early Access - July 12-27
Ambassador Early Access - July 14-27
Influencer & Cardholder Early Access - July 16-27
Everyone - July 28-August 8 (no credit card needed)
How do you know what tier you are?
You can find out what tier you are by logging into your Nordstrom account. If you don't have a Nordstrom account, you can sign up to become a member which is free and easy! Also, if you aren't currently a cardmember and want to get early access to the sale, you can apply for a Nordstrom credit card and get a $60 Bonus Note for a future purchase. While I definitely don't encourage going into debt for clothes, if you know you're wanting to grab some items anyways, then you'll definitely want to get a card so you can shop early!
What's on sale?
The best things to snag during the sale are fall items like cardigans and sweaters, boots, jackets, jeans, activewear, beauty, and so much more! What's the best way to shop?
First of all, this is probably the most popular sale of the year so things sell out FAST! If something catches your eye, be sure to grab it while you can because it will most likely sell out. If you end up not liking it, you can always return later (Nordstrom's return policy is amazing). There's a much better assortment of items sold online than in the store, and you can save items to your wish list in your Nordstrom account and favoriting items in the LTK app. I recommend making a list of what you want to buy, and then shop as early as you're able to. I'm super excited for the sale this year and will be sharing my tips and tricks along the way!

At the end of the day, it's just a sale! I've received some DM's in the past from people who are really disappointed that an item sold out or they weren't able to shop the sale early. I get it - there can be a lot of HYPE over this sale and it could be easy to feel left out. I want to be a good resource for those of you who are shopping the sale, but if you don't plan on buying anything, that's totally okay too! It's just stuff and won't make a big difference at the end of the day!
