Patio & Outdoor Space
It was earlier last summer that our patio got paved and progress was being made in our backyard. We were so excited for our vision to come to life and to fully enjoy the space with friends and family later in the summer and into fall. It took about 6 weeks for the construction to be completed and at least a month after that before furniture started arriving, but now it’s done and I couldn’t love it more! I really wanted the space to be comfortable, chic and resort inspired and I think it is just that! I’m looking forward to so many nights spent out here with the fire on and enjoying our beautiful sunsets! Below I’ve shared what the renderings were and the final result!
For our covered patio, I wanted an area that we could hang out and relax. I went with this sectional also from West Elm. I love the coffee table we bought! Note: I ordered this coffee table not realizing it technically is for indoor use, but since the space is covered we decided to keep it. Here is a similar outdoor option. I added this Amazon rug and this faux tree to tie the space together!
I really wanted the patio to look intentional and cohesive, so I bought a matching set from West Elm. I ordered this sofa and two matching lounge chairs. I ordered these side tables and tons of planters to add pops of color! Tap the image for links!
I plan on drinking my morning matcha/coffee out on the patio, so I got these comfy chairs with cushions in color natural and matching side table!
I decided to go with with these chaise loungers - I love to lay out on and read here . To go with those, I got this Amazon side table as well. I also needed a dining area to entertain and have dinners outside on the patio, so I got this dining table with these matching chairs and this bench! I think it’ll be perfect for BBQs and weekend hangouts with friends and family.
PS- this is a rendering that our landscaper (PJE Landscaping) made for our patio. We extended out our patio with a paved concrete cut into a diamond pattern design, and added an in-ground fire pit. We also are closed off one wall of the patio to add a grill and countertop. So excited about this design! Here’s what we ordered for the space…
