My Favorite Healthy Snacks
I get asked all the time how I stay healthy and what my diet is like. To be completely honest, I don’t like to give out “diet advice” because that’s not my realm of expertise. I love eating healthy, but I also like to indulge too! I’m also a huge snacker… like I always have snacks on hand and snack throughout the day. Whenever I share my groceries or foods that I like, you all seem to really enjoy that and want to see more. Today, I’m sharing some of my go-to “healthy-ish” snacks that make eating healthy a little less boring and are also delicious - because nobody likes the taste of cardboard!
Siete Grain Free Chips - If you like tortilla chips then I highly recommend Siete Grain Free Chips. They’re made with cassava flour instead of corn, but still taste amazing. My favorite is the nacho flavor - but honestly, they’re all good! Great with salsa or guac!
Purely Elizabeth Granola - Finding a granola without a bunch of junk in it can be quite the task… that’s why I love Purely Elizabeth granola (I like the original and maple walnut flavors). Great on yogurt or on its own.
Pistachios - If you’re not a big almond or nut eater, then try pistachios! I actually like them better than almonds!
Organic/No Sugar Added Applesauce - Nothing brings me back to my childhood like eating applesauce. I like the no sugar added kind because the only ingredient is apples - YAY!
Annie’s Fruit Snacks & Cheddar Bunnies - Okay, so these are some of my favorite “healthy-ish” snacks but hey, I’m only human! Annie’s snacks have cleaner ingredients than most and are super tasty when you’re craving something sweet or salty. I also love these low sugar candies - I always have some on hand.
RX Bars - These bars have minimal ingredients, are high in protein, and still taste great. I call that a win-win!
Culina Yogurt - If you’re looking for a dairy-free yogurt with great ingredients, then look no further. Culina yogurt is SO good (my favorite is the bourbon vanilla flavor) and it’s sweetened with just organic maple syrup.
Gluten Free Pretzel Crisps - I love a good salty snack, and these gluten free pretzels are a great alternative. I love dipping them in Sabra Hummus… yum!
Bobo’s Oat Bites - Another “healthy-ish” snack that is honestly too hard to resist!
Laughing Cow Light Cheese Wedges - If you’re like me and love cheese, then try these light cheese wedges. Even better… pair them with some Blue Diamond Almond Cracker Crisps for the ultimate healthy snack!
Justin’s Cashew Butter Cups - If I have a sweet tooth (which is all the time), I’ll reach for the Justin’s Cashew Butter Cups or Almond Butter Covered Almonds. So good!
Bubly Water & Kombucha - I try to drink a lot of water, but when I want something with a little more flavor, I love drinking sparkling water or kombucha. Both are much better options than soda or something with a ton of sugar. I also like drinking tea (when I’m not drinking coffee) - this is my favorite peppermint tea!
