The Best Boots for Fall through Winter
I received a DM from someone the other day saying, "Any recs on winter boots for this year? I need new ones but want cute and waterproof at the same time!". The first brand that popped into my head was Sorel! I bought my first pair of Sorel boots last fall (around November) and it was of the best purchases I made all year! I quickly bought another pair after I realized how much I was wearing them. They're super warm, waterproof, and also happen to be very cute at the same time. I've worn them in the snow and rain many times, and my feet have always stayed warm and dry! I've added a third pair to my collection this fall, the Joan of Arctic Wedge Chelsea Boot, and I can't wait to put them to good use. These boots, like my other pairs from Sorel, have a little bit of a heel (3" wedge to be exact). I love this feature because it makes the boots look feminine and and gives you a little extra length to your stems, but they're still super easy to walk in and the molded rubber sole gives extra traction on slick surfaces. The Chelsea Boot is definitely a classic style that you can wear now, in the fall, and straight into the winter. Shoes.com has a huge collection of Sorel boots including the other two pairs that I own (here and here). I could not recommend this brand more! Worth every penny! You can shop my favorites below.
