Why is furniture SO expensive!?! Luckily, we were able to use all the furniture from our old house in the new one, but there were still spaces we needed to fill. Not to mention, we had to buy or replace all the light fixtures which are equally as expensive. If you’re wondering which ones we chose, I broke everything out room by room including our furniture in this post. Luckily, I searched the web high and low for more affordable pieces that have the same look and feel - some of the items are almost identical for the fraction of the cost! If there’s one thing I want for Christmas this year it’s to be in our new home! Fingers crossed we’ll be moving in just in time for the holidays - that would truly be the best present I could ask for! If you’ve been following along on IGS, then you know we’ve been having to make a lot of decisions for the new house recently. Since we’re building new, we’ve been working with an interior designer to select finishes, paint colors, hardware, and furniture which has been a LOT! Don’t get me wrong, we’re having so much fun and this whole process has been very exciting for us, but we’re normally pretty indecisive, so it’s forced Cort and me to make up our minds about things.
